Bhartiya Vedic Sansthan to propagate Vedas: Acharya Sanjay Shastri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 19: Chairman Bhartiya Vedic Sansthan Jammu Shree Acharya Sanjay Shastri said that the Sansthan is to promote Vedic Padhyati and inculcate the knowledge of Vedas amongst the Hindus through various religious means and methods in the shape of Havans, Yagyas etc are being adopted. Addressing a press conference here today, Shree Acharya said that one of the procedure adopted to aware the masses is organizing the Yagyas during Ganesh Maha Utsav. The festival is being celebrated throughout India. He said that Ganesh Utsav is also being simonized in Jammu since last three years and now on 1st of September 2011, a Yagya will be performed and will continue up to 11 Septemebr 2011. All the basic requirements have been completed; particularly ‘GANESH MURTI’ has been received by this Sansthan and lying at vedic Ashram, Greater Kailash, Jammu. The MURTI shall be brought to Prade Ground on 30th of August from Greater Kailash, thereafter Ganesh Murti Sathapan shall be on 1st of Sept, 2011 at Parade which will be followed with various programmes like Ganesh Puran Katha by Swami Shree Shree 1008 Vidant Achariya Swami Ashra Nand Girl Maharaj (Hardwar Waley), Bajans, Kirtans reciting of vedic Mantras shall be performed.
