Vehicle plunges into gorge at Bhaderwah, ten sustain injuries | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 19: At least ten persons suffered injuries, when a vehicle, they were travelling in, skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda district. According to police sources a Tata mobile (MH14GB-0494) which was on its way to Sarthal Bani area from Bhaderwah town fell into a deep gorge near Nalthi area. The mishap took place when driver of the vehicle lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve. As a result, Tata Mobile skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge, leaving atleast ten persons injured, they added. "Police and locals immediately rushed to the spot and they started rescue operation. The injured were shifted to the sub district hospital Bhaderwah for treatment, while one of the critically injured Mohammed Latif was referred to the Government Medical College Hospital for treatment," police added, while saying he was airlifted to the GMC hospital for advanced treatment. |
