| AIBUC criticize government for not accepting demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 20: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has strongly criticized the state government for not accepting the genuine demands of the Union.
A meeting of All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) was held today in this regard under the chairmanship of Abdul Majid Malik President of the Union.
It was apprised to the participants about the regular and continuous effects of the Union as the Union had put forth its demands through a press conference on May 14, 2011 and a protest demonstration against the government infront of Div Com Office on June 07, 2011.
All the speakers warned the government not to delay the genuine demands of the Union viz enhancement from 2% to 27%, enhancement of the creamy layer from 3 lacs to 6 lacs, issuance of one certificate on the name of OBC instead of OSC, renewal of OBC certificate on the production of income certificate, abolishing of the income criteria for scholarship to OBC students academic, 27% admission in Kendrya Vidyala at all levels, due share in legislative assembly in the upper house.
Those who participated were Prof. Kali Dass, Puran Chagotra, Shambu Parshad, Prof. B.L. Bhardwaj, Prof. Vir Singh, Sandokh Chand, Sudesh Targotra, Prof. Sudesh Kashyap, Ramesh Kumar, Kali Chand, Puran Dabgotra, Karan Targotra, Hazoor Khan, Mohd. Latif, Mohdl Saleem, Ramzan Mohd., Mohd. Najam-ul-Din and Mater Sain Dass.
