| 13 dealers fined in Pahalgam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, JUNE 20: Continuing its drive to ensure that quality and genuine products are made available to tourists, a quality control squad of Directorate of handicrafts conducted inspection of Pahalgam market.
As many as 13 business unit holders were penalized for violation of various provisions of Tourist Trade/Quality Control Act. A penalty of Rs 8,400 was imposed on the erring dealers.
The dealers were warned not to indulge in unscrupulous trade practices. The unit holders found indulging in malpractices would be black listed, the officials cautioned.
