Clash between two groups of same faction on MP’s arrival | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, June 20: Two groups of same faction of Congress clashed with each other during workers meet at PWD Dak Bunglow Kishtwar. The meeting was being presided over by member Parliament Chowdhary Lal Singh who was here to attend a marriage function. Since like rest of the state there are two groups of Congress one being led by MLA Inderwal GM Saroori and another by PCC Vice President Sheikh Ghulam Haider and District President Pardeep Singh Parihar. Chowdhary Lal Singh who has visited only once after being elected to parliament had come to Kishtwar to attend the marriage function at Saroori’s residence also called the workers meet. The eye witnesses told that it was only Saroori group the loyalist of Union Minister G N Azad who attended the meeting. In the meeting two different groups of the same faction one led by M A Malik a retired police officer who has recently joined Congress and another by Jughal Bhandari who had contested the last assembly elections from Kishtwar and got only 1600 votes. Both the groups blamed each other for congress debacle in Kishtwar constituency. They accused Lal Singh for taking least interest in Kishtwar and showed their anger. Sensing the gravity of the situation Lal Singh gave a slip and left from the meeting.
