| Restore Bani-Basholi road link: PDP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 20: Expressing concern over hardship being faced by the residents of Bani and adjoining localities due to snap of road links, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) general secretary Thakur Balbir Singh asked the authorities to immediately restore the road link between Basholi and Bani.
In a statement issued here today, Thakur Balbir Singh expressed surprise that even after a week’s time nothing has been done for the restoration of the road link.
“Failure of the authorities to restore the road link speaks about the non serious attitude of the government towards genuine problems of the people”, he said.
Thakur Balbir Singh said that residents of Bani have been facing numerous problems.
He mentioned that due to snapping road links at various places in Bani, residents have been facing scarcity of ration and medicines. He demanded that supply of ration should be made in Bani area and efforts must be started on war footing to restore the road link. |
