Movement seeks review of decision to release separatists | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jun 20: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has urged Home Minister P Chidambaram to review decision taken by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to release separatist leaders and rehabilitate trained militants across the border. Addressing the media persons, President JWA Sunil Dimple said that home minister should take serious note of CM’s decision and reject it as government has received 180 applications and verified all of them. He claimed that the surrendered Kashmiri youth who crossed the borders are not still the part of the country. Dimple called for taking immediate steps for the restoration of peace and normalcy. He said that all the political parties like Congress, national Conference, PDP, BJP and others are busy in playing politics with the law and order in the state. He demanded repeal of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA). Sunil Dimple demanded that home minister should revoke “Indo- Pak Indus Water Treaty”.
