JSM criticises agri policy of J&K govt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jun 20: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) has criticized agriculture policy of the state which according to them ignores farmers of Jammu, alleging therein that they are not creating opportunities for the farmers to sell Basmati all over India. According to a handout issued here today, JSM General Secretary Surjeet Singh said that irrigation is still a cause of concern for the farmers of the area. Singh urged the government to take concrete steps to sort out problems of the farmers. He said that people of the area are now getting away from cultivation of Basmati. Jammu State Morcha re-emphasized that the solution of Jammu and Kashmir does not lay in accepting and bowing down to the demands of one section of the Kashmir population and enforcing the same on the other region. Those who were present included Yog Raj, Baljeet Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Surjeet Singh (General Secretary), Vijay Kumar (Vice President of Marh Block), Chandra Udhay Sharma, Nathu Ram, Kamal Sharma and many more.
