| JK Cricket Association files appeal | | Court stays operation of City Judge’s order | | Jammu, Nov 23 Principal District Judge Jammu Mr. Subhash Chander Gupta has stayed the operation of the impugned order of City Judge dated November 21,2006 and passed directions for maintaining the status quo. In an appeal filed by Joint Secretary Sumit Sharma JK Cricket Association against the order of City Judge dated November 21, 2006 whereby the City Judge dismissed the suit filed against the respondents Rohit Malhotra and others, claiming to be the members of Select Committee, after hearing Advocate Vishal Sharma appearing for the cricket Association, stayed the operation of impugned order till next date of hearing with the direction to the parties to maintain status quo-qua the subject matter of the suit. Principal District Judge Jammu while staying the operation of order of Court below issued notice to Mr. Rohit Malhotra, Ankush Abrol, Ashok Dutta, Ashok Gupta and Ajay Vaid and called the record of the Court below, Advocate Vishal Sharma appearing for the JK Cricket Association along with the appeal has filed an application for staying the operation of the order impugned, which is supported with an affidavit upon this the Court stayed the operation of the order and directed to list the case for further proceedings on December 2, 2006.
