| Theft case worked out, 2 held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 20: Ramban Police claimed to have achieved a major success by solving a theft case within week’s time in which Jewellery worth Rs. 50000 along with Rs.5000 in cash was recovered from the thieves stolen by them from the house of one Ghulam Mohd son of Mohd Sultan resident of Sumber.
On receiving the information about the theft, a Police Party headed by S.I. Rakesh Singh, Incharge Police Post Ramsoo under the close supervision of Shri Anil Magotra, SP Ramban was deputed to carry out raids at various suspected locations to apprehend the thieves.
Utilizing the human and technical intelligence, both the thieves namely Zakir Hussain son of Abdul Karim and Anayatullah S/o Abdul Hamid, both residents of Sumber, tehsil Ramban were apprehended from Banihal area and on their disclosure during interrogation, the stolen Jewellary worth Rs.50,000 approximately and cash Rs. 5000 were recovered from a natural hideout in upper reaches of Sumber area.
