| PG Dept. Clinches women handball Inter-Collegiate Trophy | | |

PG Department lifted Handball Women Inter-Collegiate Trophy 2006-07 by defeating Govt. College for Women, Parade in an exiting match by 9-8 goals here today.
In the most exiting match of the Inter-Collegiate Women Handball the girls from PG Dept. clinched the trophy from the hands of Women College by little margin of just one goal. Mehak from PG Dept. scored maximum five goals whereas Divya and Prerna from Parade College scored three goals each.
In the Men Section semi-finals matches were played in which first semi-final match was played between DC Udhampur and GGM Science College. DC Udhampur emerged as winner by defeating 24-23 goals in a hard fought match. In the second semi-final match MAM College lifted over Commerce College by the margin of 22-18 goals.
The matches were officiated by Dev Raj, Sudesh Kumar and coaches by Vinay Sharma and Jyoti.
