| Minor girl raped, accused held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
jammu, June 20: Police today arrested a person allegedly out ragging modesty of a-seven-year-old girl in Kanachak, police sources said.
Police sources said that they received a complaint from the family members of a girl that their seven year old daughter was allegedly raped by their neighbour.
Acting on the complaint, police sources said, a Kana Chak police team immediately swung into action and they raided the house of the accused in Mishri Wala area.
The accused identified as Ravi Kumar (45) son of Bansi Lal of Misri Wala at quarter Number 242, police sources said, was arrested. While the minor girl, police sources said was shifted to the SMGS Hospital for her medical. |
