Molvi Masood cricket tourney | CT Blues, WCC Blues win ties in Molvi Cricket | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, June 20: The CT Blues and WCC Blues won their respective matches to move into the next round of the ongoing Third Molvi Massood Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today. In the first match of the day, CT Blues defeated Sangam Reds by three wickets. After winning the toss and decided to bat first, Sangram Reds bowled out for 167 runs in 37 overs of the 40 over match. Fayaz Hazari played an exceptional 92 runs innings. In reply, CT Blues reached the total in 37 overs losing seven wickets.. Manzoor Ahmed was top scorer with 48 runs. In another match of the day, WCC Blues outplayed YSS by seven wickets. The third mach of the day was won by Kohinoor Club beating Mattan Sports by 40 runs. Meanwhile, in ongoing President’s Cup, City Club trounced Bandipora XI by four wickets. Batting first, Bandipora scored 154 runs losing all their wickets which, in reply, City Club Sopore chased rather easily in 31 overs for the loss of six wickets. Basharat and Arif Ahmed were main scores with 54 and 25 run respectively. From City Club, Zain bagged three wickets while Akeel and Kafeel shared two each.
