| RP Rockets among huge cache recovered from hideouts | | Three LeT militants eliminated in Marwah, Doda | |

Three hardcore LeT terrorists were gunned down in an encounter near Hunzar Dachan in Doda district today while security forces recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition including RP launchers from two hideouts in Doda district.
Acting on a specific information about presence of militants in the area, the local police from Panchdhara, Dachhan and Nant Nullah launched a search operation to apprehend the militants. The search party came under heavy gunfire from the militants, which was effectively retialited by the Police leading to an encounter. In the ensuing encounter all the three ultras belonging to LeT outfit were shot dead. However, there was no casualty from the Police side.
The slain militants have been identified as Mudassar code Abu Hamza, Mohammed Irfan code Abu Sohail and Mohammed Ismail code Abu Omair .Two AK rifles, four AK magazines, one hand grenade and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the slain militants.
In the meanwhile, a huge cache of arms and ammunition including RP Rockets were recovered from two hideouts by the security forces in Doda district.
Based on specific information, Security Forces launched a search operation at Kanderu South of Doda and recovered a cache from a hide out. The recoveries included two UBGL grenades, one Binocular and huge quantity of AK ammunition.
In another such incident the Security Forces recovered a cache at Sewa South - East of Doda, which included four RP Rockets and a huge quantity of AK ammunitions.
In a similar operation the forces recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition concealed in a polythene bag at Solian Nallah at Kalash Mohammed 9 Kms from Surankot.
