| Soz visits Shopian.Adresses Public meetings. | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, June 21 (KNS): Prof. Saifuddin Soz MP Former Union Minister & President J&K Pradesh Congress accompanied by R S Chib Minister of Medical Education, YSS, Vice Presidents Bashir Ahmad Magrey MLC, Gulam Nabi Monga, Abdul Majid Padder, General Secretary Mohd Anwar Bhat, District Presidents Peer Nazir Ahmad, Anayatullah Rather, Rashid Chowdhry and Abdul Qayoom Shah, Shameema Raina, Shameema Sopori and others visited Shopian, Wachi and Frisal Kulgam today and addressed of public meetings there. Prof. Soz was presented with the list of 25 Sarpanchs and 105 Panchs and on this occasion he gave a message to Sarpanchs and Panchs that Congress party will leave no stone unturned to make them powerful .Prof. Soz exhorted them that they would enjoy power only through service to the people. On these occasions he told the gatherings that time had come when people all the three regions must talk to Central Leader to find solution to the political Imbroglio. Hew urged the Hurriyat Leadership to come forward for a meaningful dialogue with the Central Leadership. Prof. Soz assured the people of Shopian that he would strengthen facilities for the District Hospital, introduction of Science Courses at the Degree College, Protection bunds at Rambiyara and expansion of Fruit Mandi. At Wachi and Frisal he Prof. Soz garlanded many of the Sarpanchs and Panchs and gave full support to the public demands. He also sanctioned substantial amount out of his MP LAD fund for development programmes at Wachi and Frisal. While addressing the gatherings R. S. Chib appealed to the people to strengthen Congress party and he responded to the people’s demand for instituting Polytechnic at Shopian. He also announced two sports fields at Wachi and Frisal under PYKKA Scheme. Those who spoke on these occasion included Bashir Ahmad Magrey, Gulam Nabi Monga, Abdul Majid Padder, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Peer Nazir Ahmad, Anayatullah Rather, Rashid Chowdhry, Abdul Qayoom Shah, Shameema Raina, Shameema Sopori and others.
