Srinagar, June 21 (KNS): GOC Victor force Major General Gurdeep Singh has said that youth are potential ambassadors they have the duty to show their determination, courage, responsibility as they are the measure source of support in negotiating any catastrophy, calamity or natural disaster as government alone will not be able to do it of its own.Major General was speaking at an interaction organized by Army and district administration at Government Degree College Budgam.
The function was organized to have better communication, straight interaction and capacity building on future prospects between students and the Army. Major General Gurdeep Singh while interacting with the students said that you are the future of the country, better institution will shape you in every respect and show you your responsibilities and your profession. Tomorrow, you may be better Doctors, Engineers, and Lawyers, Army officers who will guide this country. Dear students you are living in the global world you have tough competition ahead to succeed in your future. You should have good dreams, courage and attitude to avail success but it needs hard work. He said Army will remain always in frontline to guide Boys, Girls. For future courses and competitions, we are here to help you in any capacity. The function was also attended by District Development Commissioner Budgam Mr. Mohmmad rafi, Commander 12 Sector RR Brig. Shivender Singh, Colonel of 35-53 and 55 RR, Principal Government Degree College Budgam M Y Quari, Lecturer fraternity and large gathering of college students.Earlier Major General convened meeting of district administration and had a detailed interaction on some important issues.
