State Pensioners Association demands revision of pension arrears | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 21: Jammu and Kashmir State Pensioners Association today demanded revision of pension arrears in one installment. As per press release issued, state pensioners in large numbers held rally in Kathua town under the leadership of Balak Ram Sharma president State Pensioners Association Kathua to stress upon the state government to pay pension revision arrears in one installment. Kabla Singh president Low Paid Employees Federation while addressing the gathering of pensioners said that employees are facing acute financial stresses and strains due to steep hike in prices essential commodities and the road map laid down by the state government to pay mere 50 percent of 6th pay commission arrears in three to six annual installments is detrimental to genuine needs and aspirations of state employees and pensioners. He strongly supported pensioners demand for payment of pension revision arrears in one installment and to employees as per central pattern and their counterparts in central government has since got the arrears in cash.
