4.6 magnitude earthquake rock Srinagar | | | Early Times Report Srinagar , June 21: An earthquake of moderate intensity rocked the summer capital, Srinagar and its adjoining areas today, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic. Head of the Disaster Management in Kashmir, Aamir Ali told UNI that the 4.6 magnitude tremors were felt at 0734 hrs this morning. He said its epicenter was located at Latitude 35.04 North, Longitude 75.04 East, about 116 kms from Srinagar. People rushed out of their homes in panic as Srinagar has been rocked by about a dozen earthquake during the past two months. He said there was no report of loss of life or damage to property.
