| Tug of War Competition held in GDCP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
PULWAMA, June 22:
Carrying on the extra - curricular activities in the Govt Degree College Pulwama a Tug of War Competition was held in the collage camps her today. The competition was inaugurated by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Aslam Baba.
The first match was played between staff & students and was won by latter. In another match Non-Teaching Staff defeated the students. Subsequent matches were played between 1st Year- 2nd Year, 2nd Year - 3rd Year & NCC - BCA students. NSS students of the college played important role in maintaining discipline during the event.
On this occasion Principal highlighted the importance of sports activities in overall development of a person. He impressed upon the students to participate largely in these activities, so as to prepare the teams for state and national level competitions. He felicitated the college sports board for organizing various sports events in the college in an efficient & excellent manner.
