| Nowshera facing acute shortage of fertilizers: Radhay Sham | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 22: Radhay Sham Sharma, MLA and a senior of National Conference from Nowshera Constituency through a statement released here said that there is acute shortage of all kinds of fertilizers, in particular D.A.P fertilizers, and farmers of Nowshera Constituency are clamoring for fertilizers supplies.
MLA Nowshera further said that if D.A.P fertilizers are not supplied to the farmers of his constituency immediately they will not be able to sow their crops and will ultimately face starvation.
He urged Minister Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir to issue directions to Director Agriculture Jammu and to the Agencies responsible for fertilizers procurement and supplies to immediately rush D.A.P fertilizers supplies to both the blocks of Nowshera and Sunderbani so that poor small and marginal farmers of his constituency are able to sow their crops well in time for their sustenance, demanded Sharma.
Sharma also urged upon Chief Minister for his intervention by issuing directions for providing uninterrupted electric supplies to the general public of his constituency and also for maintaining drinking water supplies as general public of his constituency are facing great hardships and not getting regular drinking water supply.
