| Akhoon inspects upcoming consumer court complex | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 22:
Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Qamar Ali Akhoon today inspected Rs 70 lakh upcoming Consumer Court Complex at Shaheed Gunj, here and took stock of the construction work going on there.
Accompanied by Commissioner/Secretary, CA&PD, Pradeep Kumar Gupta and Director, CA&PD, Kashmir, Abdul Wahid Tak, the Minister went round various storeys of the complex and personally supervised the work under execution.
Interacting with the officers of JKPCC, the agency engaged in the construction work, the Minister called for finishing touch to the complex within shortest possible time so that the Complex is put to use for redressal of grievances of consumers at the earliest.
Akhoon also directed for arrangement of furniture and furnishings for the complex so that the complex provides better accommodation facilities to the concerned.
