| Ration supply to Bani resumed through Bhaderwah-Bani road | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 22
Following the blockade of Bani-Basohli road, the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department has started the supply of the food grain to the cut off areas from Bhaderwah-Bani road till the restoration of the main road.
The step has been taken on the directions of Minister for CA&PD Department Qamar Ali Akhoonto ensure that the people of the area may not face any inconvenience due to shortage of the food grains.
Moreover, directions have been issued to the Assistant Directors of Jammu (R) Circle-I, II and III, Jammu (Rural), Kathua, Samba, Udhampur and Ramban for maintaining adequate stocks of K. oil and LPG Gas on the ensuing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2011, for convenience of Yatris and to meet any emergency.
