KP delegations meets CM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, June 22 (KNS): A delegation of Kashmiri Migrant Rehabilitation and Welfare Society (KMWRS) Wednesday met Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, and discussed modalities of return of 140 Kashmiri Pandit families to the Valley. The delegation led by KMRWS President Ashok Kumar Raina told the CM that more than 140 KP families were willing to return to the Valley. “We are ready to come, let government announce its programme,” the KP delegation told CM. Omar, sources said, assured them that government was very much interested in return of migrants. “Kashmiri society is incomplete without KPs. Government is committed to its promise of brining back KPs with dignity. Whatever steps government may have to take for your return, we will take,” Omar told KPs. Talking to KNS Raina said, “We thank the CM for his assurances. We want to live with our Muslim brethren and are ready to come here. Most of the KPs want to return back to their motherland.” Earlier the delegation met Political Advisor to CM, Devendar Singh Rana, at Civil Secretariat here. Rana assured them of full support from government side.
