| Appointment of Mechanical Engineers against civil engineering post flayed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar June 23:- Unemployed Engineers Association Kishtwar (UEAK) during a meeting of an association flays the government for appointment of Mechanical Engineers against the post of Civil Engineers. In a meeting of UEAK which was held under the Chairmanship of Muneet Sharma in which the attention of Honorable Minister for RDD, Sh. Ali Mohammad Sager was seek for conducting an inquiry against adjustment of Mechanical Engineers as a JE/Technical Assistant under MGNREGA in District Kishtwar. Muneet Sharma in his address critics Rural Development Department for setting all norms aside while making these appointments. He said that despite availability of Civil Engineers in Kishtwar District, Mechanical Engineers were appointed as JE’s/Technical Assistants in RDD Kishtwar and the termed the matter as serious in respect of playing with future of unemployed youths having degree in Civil Engineering. He said that as per vide order NO 125 of 2009 dated 21-01-2009 issued by ACD Kishtwar, it was clearly mentioned at clause number 9 of the order that whenever Civil Engineers may be available would be adjusted in place of Mechanical Engineers . He said that it is a fact that Mechanical Engineering totally differs with Civil Engineering in all respect.
The Association has further stressed upon the concerned authorities that an inquiry may also be got conducted against those Mechanical Engineers who have been allowed to appear for further examination without seeking proper permission from the department heads. The Association further claims that in past they have also made representation to DDC Kishtwar, but no fruitful results had come out except false promises.
