| Agitating Shiv Sainiks ransack CAPD office, demand probe in multi crore scandal | | |

Activists of Shiv Sena Bal Thackeray today raided the office of Director Consumer Affiars and Public distribution in protest against the non-availability of rice,sugar,Atta, K.oil on the ration depots of the city.
The shiv sainiks also ransacked the office premises disrupting high level meeting of the officials of the CAPD department and demanded thorough probe behind the multi crore scandal.
State President of the Shiv Sena Bal Thackeray Anan Sharma was leading agitating Shiv Sainiks along with Kuldeep Luthra,Ranjit Singh Bali,Nischay Sharma,Pawan Gupta,Sanjeev Kohli,Sushil Gupt and Ashok Pandey.
After sometime when officials of the CAPD department pacified agitating hiv Sainiks, Secretary of the department Khalid Habib gave them a patient hearing and listened to their complaints.
The secretary CAPD department was apprised that in the absence of any fool proof mechanism to check black marketing supplies meant for distribution across ration depots in the city were not taking place on regular basis.
Shiv Sainiks also apprised senior official that in the absence of ration supplies and Kerosne oil common public is suffering in isolation.
During their meeting
Shiv Sainiks also alleged that 120 licenses of K.OIl dealers cancelled by the SSP Jammu Mukesh Singh were regularised by the Deputy Director CAPD after taking handsome bribe to be distributed equally among senior authorities including the Minister concerned.Secretary CAPD while giving assurance to the Shiv Sainks said that adequate ration supplies would be dispatched to the ration depots to ensure than common public doesnot suffer and also appreciated their concern.Mr Khalid Habib also invited Anan Sharma in his office chamber on Tuesday to discuss genuine problems faced by the public at large at the hands of the officers of the CAPD department. |
