| JJSM held meet, demanded inquiry of attack on students during pre PhD exam | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 23: Jammu State Students Morcha held a press conference in the Jammu University and requested the Chief Minister J&K Omar Abdullaha and Governor N N Vohra to intervene in the problem of the student in University of Jammu.
During the press conference Vice President of Jammu State Students Morcha Kapil Sharma a Research Scholar, condemn the attack on student during Pre Ph D Examination by the University Teacher. Kapil Sharma requested the CM and Governor for immediate suspension of the Deepanker Sen Gupta OSD to Controller, who slapped a student during the pre Ph.D Exam of the Buddhists Studies and use abusive and offensive language.
JSSM said that Prof Deepanker Gupta became the Professor by flouting the norms of the JU and request the Governor to initiate an inquiry regarding his undue promotion during the regime of the VC Prof. Amitabh Mattoo.
He briefed that Prof. Deepnker Sen slapped a student on exam desk without any reason and later attacked with a sharp weapon on student, which is the act of cruelty. Meanwhile the other students who were appearing in the said examination tried to pacify but Deeapnker Sen also abused them and asked for dare consequence.
Lovejeet Singh who got the serious injury on shoulder got the two stitches on shoulder and one on the neck .JSSM also asked the JU administration about the role of Irfan Gony that how he came into the Examination Centre without any permission.
Vasu Dev Gen Secretary Suresh Kumar an eyewitness and a student appearing in the pre PhD exam also said that Professor Deepanker Come with outsider Irfan Gony an outsider in the Examination Hall of the Pre PhD and slapped Lovejet Singh Jimy.
Meanwhile the examiner of the Pre PhD exam Professor V N Labh has also given in writing that Prof Deepanker made a serious indiscipline in the exam and slapped the student without any Justification.
Beside this other students who were appearing in the exam had already given a written Complaints in the DSW office of the JU against the Prof Deepanker Sen Gupta.
