| Manjit stresses for effective monitoring of distribution, sale outlets | | |

Minister of state for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution and School Education S.Manjit Singh has directed Tehsil Supply Officer R. S. Pora to intensify monitoring and ensure timely supply of kerosene oil to consumers. He called for thorough checking of all the CAPD stores, retail outlets and private dealers.
Taking a serious note of the complaint of Chahala villagers during his visit today, the Minister issued strict instructions for streamlining distribution of kerosene oil and other essentials in the area. “Any functionary of the department found negligent in fair discharge of duty would be sternly dealt with”, Manjit warned.
The Minister directed for maintaining transparent record and impressed upon officials to update stock and supply positions periodically. He also made surprise inspection of Government Girls High School R. S. Pora and took serious note of truancy of the headmaster Mrs. Bimla Bhagat. |
