| IBM selects Kawa for employability | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 24: Kawa Institute of Management & Technology recognized by Govt. of J&K and affiliated to university of Jammu has got selected by IBM Company.
M.S.Katoch chairman of Kawa said that students of Kawa placed students IBM, some of whom have joined too while earlier also company like WIPRO, Iflex, and others selected many students from the institution who are today serving at good positions and drawing handsome salaries.
Katoch added that institute concentrates on quality of education & leave no stone unturned to make the students employable.
He said that today the employability is main component, and many students being computer literate and possessing degrees like BCA / BSc.IT lack employability and hence could not fetch placement whereas in Kawa institution more emphasis is given towards good academics, employability & exposure.
Gone are the days when jobs were available on the basis of degrees, this era is an era of competition, hard work & honesty, and we at Kawa imbibe all these qualities amongst the youths pursuing education in our institution,” said Katoch
He added that Institute would again like to bring it in the knowledge of masses of J&K specially student community that Kawa institute of management and tech. is recognized by govt. of J&K and affiliated to Jammu University for BCA course and has also obtained permission to offer BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) course from the year 2010.
