| Chowdhary expresses satisfaction over the socio-economic conditions of safai karamcharis | | |

Chairperson, National Commission for Safai Karamcharis Mrs Santosh Chowdhary has expressed satisfaction over the socio-economic conditions of safai karamcharis of Jammu district. Mrs Chowdhary who was on two-day visit to state visited various scavenger habitations and interacted with their representatives.
Later, interacting with media Mrs Chowdhary said she has collected complete data on various social indicators of the community during her tour, which she said will be submitted to state and central governments for appropriate action.
Mrs. Chowdhary, later visited Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine at Katra and paid obeisance there. She was accompanied by Chief Executive Officer Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. |
