JAMMU, JUNE 24- In order to carry out urgent maintenance of 33 KV Canal-Medical Line and R/Station Super Specialty Hospital, the power supply to Bakshi Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Rajpura, Maheshpura, Rehari, part of Sarwal and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Canal-Medical Line will remain affected on June 25, 2011 (Saturday) from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon. The Essential Feeders shall be fed from Receiving Station New Secretariat.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out urgent maintenance works for stabilization of power supply in and around Yatri Bhawan at Bhagwati Nagar in connection with Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra, the power supply to Bhagwati Nagar, Jain Colony, Friends Lane, Talab Tillo, Gole Pully, Vikas Lane, Nitco Lane, Puran Nagar, Bhawani Nagar, Vishal Nagar, Talab Tillo, Telephone Exchange etc and PHE Stations feeding these areas fed from 11 KV C-7, C-8 and C-9 feeders emanating from 33/11 KV Canal Receiving Station will remain affected on 25th & 26th June, 2011 (Saturday & Sunday) from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
Similarly, to carry out the stringing/shifting of 132 KV Canal-Miranshib transmission line at the site of construction of forth bridge, the power supply to the areas fed from 33 KV Toph-II & 11 KV C-16 feeder emanating from can Grid Station/Receiving Station and feeders TT-I & TT-2 (Talab Tillo) Tarlokpur and Gho-Manhasan shall remain affected on June 27, 2011 from 7 a m to 1 p m.
In order to carryout stringing of conductor on re-erected 33 KV Janipur-Muthi line damaged on June 17, 2011, the power supply to Muthi, Domana, Dream City, Machillian, Domana Machine, Udhaywalla, Lal Da Bagh, Bhori, BSF, Doordarshan, MES, Nagbani Floura, KC Public School and adjoining areas shall remain affected on June 25, 2011 from 7 a m to 11 a m.
According to Superintending Engineer, Elect. M&RE Circle-I, Jammu, the shut down is subjected to fair weather conditions.
