| Sham releases book title ‘Jammu Heritage’ | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, JUNE 24- A Book on Jammu Heritage authored by Mr. Suraj Saraf, Senior Journalist was released here today at K. L. Sehgal Hall, Cultural Academy, Complex, Jammu in an impressive function jointly organized by Icon Publication and J&K Center for creative Arts, Jammu.
On the occasion, Minister for Health, Floriculture and Horticulture Mr. Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest while Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha presided over the function.
Pardeep Datta, Bureau Chief Times Now presented a detailed Research paper on the Book. The Book profusely with appropriate colour photographs and excellently designed Jammu Heritage highlights rich cultural aspects of Jammu region.
The Minister while congratulating Mr. Saraf said that the rare book contains highly informative and knowledgeable with regards to the Heritage of Jammu and utmost need for its wider circulation not in state but outside the state too.
Earlier, Suraj Saraf also spoke on the occasion and highlights continents in respect of Jammu Heritage point of view and also stressed upon the preservation of tangible and intangible heritage of all three the region especially Jammu.
Mr. N. D. Jamwal and Prof. Lalit Magotra also spoke and appreciated the efforts of Mr. Suraj Saraf.
Dr. Sudhir Mahajan renowned theatre Director of the State presented welcome address and also conducted the proceedings of the program.
