| Crime Branch organizes workshop on drug abuse | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 24: A workshop on the topic Drugs abuse was organized by crime Branch Jammu in collaboration will JKSPY mashwara in the premises of Alexander public School near SRTC office, Residents Road, Jammu. On the occasion Johnny William, DIG was the Chief Guest. The seminar was attended by all officers of Crime Branch Jammu and prominent citizens of Jammu City. Besides, some NGO was also present in the workshop.
On this occasion, lectures regarding anti-drugs were delivered by Dr.
Manu Arora of GMC Jammu, Pallavi Singh of Mashwara, Dheeraj Nagpal from NCB, Sr. Prosecuting Officer Anil Mangotra of Crime Branch Jammu.
In his concluding lecture Johnny Williams familiarized the audiences about step being taken by the Crime Branch to curb the menace of drug addiction and steps taken to destroy the poppy and cannabis crops. He particularly stressed upon the youth to remain away from the drugs because thousands of youths have destroyed their clerk once they are into the drugs. He further said that Crime Branch is ready all the time to help people to fight menace of drugs. He also asked officers to remain prepared to help needy people
