| DC Anantnag rebuts Hurriyat allegation | | | Srinagar, June 24: The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Kifayat Rizvi Friday rebutted a news report regarding occupation of property of a leader of Hurriyat Conference (G), Ghulam Nabi Sumji.
The Hurriyat (G) spokesperson had alleged that in a pre-planned manner district administration Anantnag was trying to occupy property of incarcerated leader Sumji.
In a statement, Rizvi said, “Some relatives of Sumji had approached the administration with an application. The investigation into the matter is on. The statement of Hurriyat spokesperson is baseless.”
