kishtwar, June 25: A private higher secondary school teacher and coaching centre owner was today arrested by police from Anantnag in Kashmir for his alleged involvement in the making of a porn CD of a girl who was said to be his student.
The accused, whom police sources identified as Tariq Qayoom Tak of Kishtwar, taught in a private higher secondary school here and ran a coaching centre in the town.
After he surfaced as an accused in the porn CD case, police raided his caoching centre-cum-residence late last night and continued searches till early this morning.
The raiding party also searched out the room in the coaching centre where the porn movie was alleged to have been shot, the sources added.
The raid was conducted by a police team led by DSP Abrar Hussain Choudhary in the presence of ACR Rajesh Kumar Shavan. DC, Kishtwar,
Mohammad Hussain Malik and SSP Bhim Sen Tooti supervised it.
Sources said during the search of the premises, cops also recovered a large number of fake certificates of some deemed universities and other objectionable documents.
Police, however, could not find out the laptop and other electronic gadgets which were alleged to have been used by the accused in the shooting of the porn film.
As Tak was not found in the house, he was today arrested by police on a tip-off from Anantnag.A case was registered against him under section 67 of IT act and section 292 of RPC.
Police were also scrutinizing the seized documents to find out if the accused was also involved in fake certificate racket. Some more arrests were expected in the case. |
