| Debate on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar June 26:-District Police Kishtwar has organised a high profile debate in Govt. Girls Higher School Kishtwar as part of observance of 26thJune as International Day of campaign against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
The debate was organised by Abrar Chowdhary Dy SP Headquarters Kishtwar. Sh. Bhim Sen Tutti, IPS District SP Kishtwar was Chief Guest on the occasion. Principal Girl Higher Secondary School Kishtwar Sh. Rajinder Singh presided over the function.
The debaters included Kajal Badyal, Chander Lekha, Vidushi Sharma, Monika Aryan, Nitika Sharma, Babli Devi, Shivani Bala, Samveen Anjum, Insha Shiekh, Tsving Dolma, Shilpa Parihar. During debate competition the various speakers highlighted the serious disorders and social alienation caused by drug abuse.
The first prize was won by Nitika Sharma, 2ndprize was won by Monika Aryan and 3rd prize went to Shivani Bala.
Various Sr. Lecturers of the Institution and local respectable attended the debate function. Among other speakers the Chief Guest Sh. B.S. Tutti appealed to the community in general and youth in particular to discourage the drug abuse and drug traffickers.
