Vimarsh Aryan interacts with IAS- KAS aspirants

JAMMU, June26: Selected recently for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Vimarsh Aryan of Jammu and Kashmir today held an interactive session with young IAS and KAS aspirants so as to prepare them for the Civil Services examinations at SR College of Competitions, here.

The session focused on the general studies and selection of optional, the reason being wrong choice by most of the students. He dealt in detail various components of the general studies, the areas to be stressed more and the various sources to be referred for the same.
Vimarsh also guided young aspirants of the Civil Services about word limit and answer writing skills. He counseled them with regard to other factors of interest, educational background, study material, coaching facilities to be kept in mind in selecting optionals. Students were also informed about the recent changes introduced in the Civil Services Preliminary examination and preparation for the same.
A qualifier of both KAS and IAS examinations, Vimarsh motivated the target students for aiming at the IAS while preparing for the KAS examination, which he thinks is not impossible to crack.
He said that last year's selections, including topper Shah Faisal and this year's record 12 men and women from the state endorses his point.
Giving more details, Director of the SR College, Parveen Sharma said, "Vimarsh Aryan while sharing his personal experiences briefed students about the problems he faced while preparing for the exams'' He informed that the College has also started free mock interviews for the KAS aspirants.
