Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 2 held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATRA, June 26: Foiling their bid to smuggle bovine animals to
Kashmir, police today arrested two persons near Mahore in Reasi. They were clandestinely carrying 24 milch animals on foot to the
valley when cops caught hold of them, according to police sources. They were identified as Abdul Ghani, son of Nizam Din of Kaithi,
and Nazir Ahmad, son of Mohammad Jumma of Kashmir. A case was registered against them at the Mahore police station.
