| Administrative machinery geared up for Shri Amarnath ji Yatra: Dy CM | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, JUNE 26- Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Tara Chand said that administrative machinery of the state is fully geared up for annual Shri Amarnath ji Yatra and all arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth pilgrimage. He said that all departments have been instructed to work in close coordination at all levels so as to ensure fool proof arrangements for the visiting yatris.
Mr. Tarachand said this while inaugurating the11th vishal bhandara langer at chann-rorian in District Kathua, here today.
The langer has been set up by Baba Barfani Sewa Mandal (regd.), Moga
(Punjab).This venue is about 43 km from Pathankot on national highway. Langer committee will provide food and lodging from 25th of June to 12th of August in order to facilitate the amarnath yatries. Medicines will also be provided to the yatris here.
The Deputy Chief Minister on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and promised that every possible facilities like water supply, electricity. Security for the smooth running of the langer. He said that to serve humanity is to serve God and every individual should be compassionate towards humanity.
Organizing committee also honored the Dy CM and MLC Subash Gupta on the occasion.
On the occasion DC Kathua Mtr. Zahida khan, SSP Kathua Mr. J L Sharma and various other senior district level officers were also present.
