Mughal rally reaches Jammu, Div Com flags in | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, JUNE 26- The Second Mughal Rally organized by Himalayan Motors Sports Association in collaboration with Department of Tourism and Jammu and Kashmir Bank that started from Srinagar today was flagged in here by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal this afternoon. The Mughal Car Rally which was started last year aims at promoting the picturesque and heritage sites along the Mughal Road and to attract the adventure and nature lovers to the area. Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Mr Sanjeev Verma was also present on the occasion. The rally which was flagged off from Srinagar this morning reached Jammu via Shopian, Pir Ki Gali, Bufliaz. The rally was flagged in Jammu by Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr. Pawan Kotwal at Amar Mahal. As many as 46 car racers from across the country participated in the rally. The rally will starts its second leg for its backward journey to Srinagar via Surinsar, Mansar, Udhampur, Patnitop, Batote, Pul Doda, Kishtwar, Chingam, Sinthan Pass, Daksum, Anantnag. As the rally proved a big success last year, a large number of participants came all the way from various parts of the country to take part in the thrilling expedition this year as well.
