| DF, SS protest govt’s failure to clean drains | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 26: Dogra front and Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray today lodged a strong protest against the failure of government in cleaning the drains on time.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that residents of Krishna Nagar under the leadership of Ashok Gupta lodged a strong protest demonstration against the PHE department. Gupta said that lakhs of rupees are withdrawn on the name of cleanness from the nallas of the Krishna Nagar.
Gupta demanded cleaning of Nallahas and lanes. He said that JVCs should be pressed into service to clean garbage so that people of Krishna Nagar and the Yatris of the Amarnath Yatra get relief.
