| CB organises anti-drug campaign | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 26: In continuation of the Anti-Drug Campaign initiated, awareness cum medical camp was organized today at Rajiv Nagar in Narwal by Crime Branch (CB) Jammu in collaboration with JKSPYM.
Additional SP Crime branch Ranjit Singh Sambyal inaugurated the camp and made aware the general masses about the ill effects of drug abuse. More than 500 hundred community people benefited from this camp. Dr. Vidhi from Police hospital and Dr. Aman from Mashwara Drug de-addiction centre were doctors present in the camp.
Free check-up and distribution of medicine was conducted by the doctors along with their team. R. K Thakur Secretary, JKSPYM was also present on the occasion. He was thankful to the Crime Branch, Jammu for providing support and cooperation for these three days for the drug abuse campaign that they started together.
He further said that he is also thankful to the management of V. K Sarvodaya School, Rajeev Nagar for providing the logistics and support for the camp. Besides free medical checkup, free counselling was also provided to the drug victims.
