| 65.35 % polling recorded in 2 CD blocks | | Panchayat Election 17th phase | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JUNE 27-The 17th phase of Panchayat Election-2011 concluded peacefully with large number of people exercising their right of franchise to elect 12 Sarpanches and 77 Panches in 2 CD blocks of the state. The Election was held in 09 Sarpanch and 58 Panch Constituencies in CD block Zanskar district Kargil and 03 Sarpanch and 19 Panch Constituencies in CD block Lungnak district Kargil. The poll percentage remained 65 % in Zanskar and 67.05 % in Lungnak with an overall percentage of 65.35 % in the twin blocks.
