| Hari Singh holds meeting of Vijaypur, Purmandal block committee | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 27: Thakur Hari Singh-vice president PCC, held meetings of block Congress committee Vijaypur and Parmandal and took stock of the problems of people of the area.
The meeting at village Smailpur was organised by Chhaju Ram-Working President BCC Vijaypur and attended by Bawan Singh, Bablu and others.
The meeting at village Tridian was organised by Onkar Singh-Working president BCC Parmandal and attended by Bharat Bhushan,-Sarpanch, Ch. Rashpal Singh, Kuldeep Raj Bhagat, Nand Lal, Sartantar Singh and others.
Hari Singh, after presiding over both the meetings said that the long scheduled and unscheduled cuts in the power supply and poor drinking water supply has made the living of people miserable.
The old poles and wirings is the main reason of power disruption and the old water pipes and faulty motors is the reason of drinking water crises.
Singh said that he himself has seen broken poles and wires and damaged water pipes and the problems of people on this score are quite genuine.
He urged upon the concerned authorities to immediately replace the old wires and water pipes and faulty infrastructure and provide uninterrupted power and regular water supply to the people of the areas.
