| Summer camp organized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 27: JK Montessorie School, Tirth Nagar Jammu in collaboration with Brainwork's play way school organized a three week long summer camp which concluded at an impressive function held here today.
During the camp large number of students from various schools were provided facilities for learning music, dance and personality grooming which included stage speaking, postures, body language & good manners, making small crafts items out of waste material, drawing, painting, vocabulary enhancement, clay moulding, swimming, splash pool, cooking and stitching.
Various competitions were organized on different days of the camp to channelize the creative energies of the students and the winners were honoured with prizes and certificates on the concluding day.
Rajni Gupta, Academic Director of the school said that the objective of the camp was to arouse cultural interest among the young minds and boost self confidence among them.
In Quiz competition, Nikhil Kerni got 1st position, Shreya Mohan got 2nd and Mridula/ Archit got 3rd prize. In Debate, Aasmi Abrot secured 1st position Shreya Mohan clinched 2nd & Mridul got 3rd position.
