| Woman among 2 designated as sr lawyers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 27: Surinder Kour today became the first lady who was designated as senior high court lawyer.P N Raina was also elevated to the level of senior lawyer, according to a notification issued by the high court registrar general.
The two advocates were designated as senior lawyers with effect from June 11, 2011, subject to the terms and conditions laid down in the advocate acts and rules.Kour, however, is the first lady advocate of high court who has been designated as senior advocate.
