SP extends full support to Anna Hazare campaign against corruption

Jammu, June 27: The J&K chapter of Samajwadi Party has extended his fullest support to Anna Hazare crusade against corruption in the country.
Addressing media persons here today, SP state president Sheikh Abdul Rehman accused both UPA Govt in Centre and opposition NDA for politics over important issue of corruption.
He criticized Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal for acting as a criminal defense advocate for strongly defending the corrupt politician, bureaucrats. He demanded that judiciary, legislature and corporate sector should be brought into the ambit of Lokpal. He appealed the people to rise against the menace of corruption. He demanded step from the Govt side to bring black money back here in India and said that if the black money is brought back, India will rank front in the richest country removing poverty, unemployment and make the India a developed nation.
Rehman said that despite of liberal funds from the centre, nothing concrete is visible on the ground. He accused most of the ministers in the coalition Govt, bureaucrats are involving in scandal and other financial mismanagement. He mentioned that there is no Lokayukt, accountability commission has been rendered irrelevant, thus except tall and hollow claims there is no measures to curb corruption here in J&K.
Commenting over the Panchayat elections, SP state president criticized the assertions of NC, Congress and PDP claiming 1, 2, 3 positions in the recently concluded Panchayat elections and said how these political parties are claiming about such elections when it was fought on non party basis. He however appealed the coalition govt to implement the 73rd, 74th constitutional amendments here in Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, Rehman favoured sustainable dialogue between the two neighbouring countries.
Meanwhile, SP expressed chock over the untimely death of party leader Ch Parveez Ahmed, president Schedule Trike/Gujjar-Bakerwal and remembered his services.
