| BMS deputation call on Labour Commissioner | | | JAMMU NOV-24 A deputation of Bhatiya Mazoor Sangh (BMS) led by its senior national leader Lakshman Ravinder Singh along with Vijay Chandel President, Harbans Choudhary General Secretary and Ashok Choudhary Vice President J&K Unit today met Labour Commissioner and discussed the problems of the working class and implementation of industrial labour laws. The leaders alleged that contract labour is being exploited and no records are being maintained of the contract workers as provided under law. The delegation urged the Labour Commissioner to convene meeting of the contract labour advisory committee to discuss the problems of the workers and demanded protection of rights under labour laws. In the meantime Ravinder Singh has demanded early release of salary to the employees of the Super Bazar, who have not been paid the same for the last ten months. While the management is deducting the EP Fund and Medical Insurance from the employees but still it is not being deposited with EPF Organization for the last 13 years, the BMS leader alleged.
