Rural children attended summer Academic Camp at HBET

JAMMU, June 28: 42 rural children, 80% girls today completed the three week annual academic camp held by Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust( HBET). This was the third academic camp which was attended by students of 7th to 10th classes. In the camp special emphasis were laid on verbal skills, character formation, leadership skills, improvement in academics, games & sports, Art & craft & dance & drama, etc.
Vijay Kochhar, trustee was the Chief guest on the occasion.
Kochhar said that the trust is really doing a great work for providing and supporting education needs of the under privileged classes of the society. It is a really an appreciable effort of the trust.
Children presented cultural items, sung songs on the occasion. Prizes were also distributed among the students who performed well in all activities by the guests.
The Managing Trustee, Kunil Bhalla, presented the vote of thanks to the guests and the parents of the students who had taken a bold step by sending their children to attend the camp.
