City Reds, Nigeen Club win in Molvi Cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, June 28: City Reds trounced KCC by four wickets to move into the next round of the ongoing Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today. Earlier, batting after winning the toss, KCC made 214 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 40 overs. Salman was top scorer with 62 runs while Imtiyaz claimed four wickets from City Reds. Later, City Reds attained the goal making 215 runs for the loss of six wickets, courtesy brilliant innings of 80 runs played by Parminder Singh.
Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Nigeen Club defeated Rainawari Cricket Club Blues by a margin of 54 runs. After winning the toss and batting first, Nigeen set a target of 210 runs which, in reply, Rainawari could not chase and lost all their wickets for 156 runs in the process.
