| 2 rooms, 40 desks dedicates by RI to village school | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, June 28: As a part of its social work activities, Rotary International (RI) through Rotary Club Udhampur today dedicated two rooms and 40 desks to the students of the government School
Dharmthal.
As per a press release issued here today, the construction of the rooms was taken up under the Rotary International project “Relief to Disaster Management areas’ as students in the school were sitting in
the open to take their classes.
Past District Governor Rtn Arun Jain inaugurated the newly constructed additional two rooms.
In addition to this, an eye screening camp was organized at Chamola (Lander) on June 19 last. The camp benefited 210 rural masses suffering from various eye ailments among which 15 patients were
screened for implantation of IOL. Against these 15 patients, 10 patients were operated in first batch on June 21 at Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur by Dr. M. K.Yadav and his team.
